After downloading MapleStory you’ll need to create an account. You are allowed three characters per account, and even though each of your characters has access to only one world, your MapleStory Account will have access to all the worlds.
You can also get a mule account to store all your additional items that can then be sold or traded to other players for the items you are seeking, or for Mesos. You can even create a Maple Story Account and share it with another user so that you can level up a lot faster. While this is against the official game rules, GM appearances are pretty rare in MapleStory so your chances of getting banned are slim!
