Have
you been thinking about playing Maple Story but you’re not sure yet if this is
the right MMORPG for you? All you need to do is learn a few more things about
the game and you’ll see why so many people are choosing this great game for
themselves.
You can join the Online Adventure with over 50 million
players worldwide! Maple Story is Free-to-Play and you can get it from a free
instant download. It’s that easy and you can check out this great game for
yourself. The website also features latest news and more so you can always stay
updated on the game and what’s happening.
So just what is
Maple Story all about? In this game, you will enter an exciting and expansive
world of characters full of exciting adventures like you’ve never seen before.
It all begins when you make your character. You can completely customize your
character in unique and fun clothes and accessories. This way you create a
“toon” that’s all about you and who you are.
Part of playing also involved meeting other adventurers and
forming groups and making friends. You can also form guilds in the game and
your guilds can complete adventures together.
Guilds are great because they promote teamwork which is a
big part of what this game is all about. Since Maple Story is a social game,
Player Quests (PQ) is also highly encouraged. This isn’t to say that you can’t
still have fun and benefit from solo questing but many things within Maple
Story have been designed with a group in mind.
If you’re looking to level up, train alone or haven’t met
anyone to play with, there are many great maps that allow you to do it solo and
still have just as much fun. The tagline is “It’s your story” because that’s
the exact idea behind Maple Story- for players to make it their own.
With millions playing, you’re never alone for long, even if
you begin that way. You will always be able to find someone to play with and
the general atmosphere is non-exclusive and very friendly. Most Maple Story
players are looking for the chance to befriend someone else and enjoy mini-games
and adventures together.

When you first
start out on Maple Story, you will be on Maple Island. Every new game begins
here and once you reach level 10, you will not be able to go back to the
island. You want to take advantage of this opportunity to do all the quests on
the island before you leave or you will miss out on your chance to do them.
Quests on Maple Island include:
-
Borrowing the Mirror
- Roger
and the Apple
- Nina
and Sen's Dinner
- Todd's
How to Hunt
- Bigg's
Collection of Items
- Letter
to Lucas
When all of these Maple Story quests are complete, you should be level
10 and you will also be ready to leave the island and start building your own
story.
Maple Story Jobs
All characters start out as beginners
but once you reach
level 10 you can choose your first job. You can choose from:
- Swordman
- Magician (lvl 8)
- Archer
- Rogue
- Pirate
At
level 30, you can choose your second job and at level 70, you can choose your
third. Then your fourth job comes at level 120. Each Ms job has different stat
requirements and different features and benefits of choosing that particular
job. Jobs are like classes in Maple Story so the job you choose will determine
your role as a character within the game.
At level 120, a character can change once more and become
even more powerful in their fourth job advancement. You can then become one of
the Cygnus Knights to include:
- Dawn Warrior
- Blaze Mage
- Wind Archer
- Night Walker
- Thunder Breaker
Finally, at level 200, you can become an Aran. You will be
considered a Legend and this is the highest position you can hold.
Each of these Maple Story classes/jobs has a benefit to them and they
are all useful in some way to groups and guilds. Choosing the right one for you
is all about learning what the jobs do and deciding which one you think you
will enjoy playing the most.
Now that you know the Maple Story story, you’re ready to get
out there and start your own game. Since it’s free, you have absolutely nothing
to lose. Check it out today!
